1. Dealing with personal data

The website at www.Denmark-Visa-Iran.com is an offer of service from Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global). On its website pages, Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) informs customers and interested parties about the requirements for applying for a Visa for Denmark.

The protection of the Applicant’s personal data when it is collected, processed and used during their visit to the website pages of Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) is an important priority for us. In accordance with the requirements specified by the Denmark Embassy, applying for a Visa requires the mandatory filing of an online Application through the website http://iran.um.dk/en , with subsequent submission of the hard copy Application documents. In the framework of the VisaApplication process, therefore, the Application will be forwarded by Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) to the Embassy of Denmarkas above-mentioned online Application website.

Please note that the data entered and saved there is processed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark for the granting of the Visa, and that Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) has no influence on the data processing by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and is not responsible for that data processing by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

Insofar as in the framework of the VisaApplicationDanish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) collects, saves or uses personal data itself, this is only done insofar as is necessary for the processing of the VisaApplication and for the rendering of our other services and the performance of contractual obligations entered into with the Embassy/Consulate. Accordingly, data is only passed on to third parties insofar as Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global)'s service partners (e.g. SMS provider and courier services) or to the Embassy of Denmark or respective Consulate, if it requires the data to process the Application. In such cases, however, the scope of the data transmitted is limited to the necessary minimum; in the case of the Embassy of Denmark or Consulate, therefore, in particular to the data already asked for on its website ( http://iran.um.dk/en ) as well as the documents and papers (passports, etc.) additionally made available by the Applicant.

Otherwise, passing the Applicant’s personal data on to third parties, selling it to third parties or transmitting it to third parties in another way is excluded, unless Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) is obliged by law or by a court decision to pass the data on, or if passing the data on is necessary for the pursuit of claims and criminal-law prosecution in the event of attacks on Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) IT infrastructure.

4. Cookies

Deletion of the personal data takes place when the Applicant declares to Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) that he/she has revoked their consent to storage, when knowledge of that data is no longer required for fulfillment of the purpose pursued with the storage, or if storage of the data is impermissible for other legal reasons. Upon written request, Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) would be pleased to inform the Applicant what data we have saved about the Applicant (e.g. name, address, telephone number). 6. Security information

Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) endeavor’s to take all of the necessary technical and organizational security measures to save the Applicant’s personal data in such a way that it is not accessible to third parties or the public. Should the Applicant or concerned party wish to contact us by email, please be aware that the confidentiality of information transmitted is not guaranteed. The applicant should be aware that the contents of the email may be viewed by third parties and Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) will not be responsible for any confidential information that may be divulged accordingly.

Danish Visa Application Centre (IVS Global) website offer contains links to other websites. We have no influence on the operators of those websites complying with the data protection provisions.

7. Security Regulations

SECURITY MEASURES FOR APPLICANTS GOING INSIDE VISA APPLICATION CENTRE

Regulations do not permit you to carry the following:
  • Usage of mobile phones, laptops, iPods, electronic books, photo and video cameras, as well as other self-contained electronic devices. All of these devices when visiting the Visa Application Centre should be disabled.
  • Forbidden items when visiting Visa Application Centre (despite the possible existence of licenses and permits):
    1. Any type of firearms, air guns and traumatic guns.
    2. Electroshocks, sprays and other means of self-defense.
    3. Cold steel arms, piercing and cutting items, including household goods.
    4. Explosives, explosive and flammable substances, fireworks.
    5. Poisonous and toxic substances.
    6. Sealed envelopes, and other packages, excluding the possibility of establishing a visual content.
    7. Large suitcases, bags, checking of which may be complicated.
    8. Alcoholic beverages and food.
    9. Electronic storage media.
    10. This list provided is not finite. Other items may be prohibited based on security staff discretion.
Articles Allowed

Folders containing your PASSSPORT(S) and Visa application related papers would be permitted inside our Visa Application Center(s) after proper security check. Any objectionable object as enumerated above will not be permitted inside the center and we take no responsibility for its custody.

Please note also that we do not generally permit third parties such as friends, relatives, or business contacts to accompany visa applicants in to the center, unless special needs ( e.g. to accompany hearing impaired, physically challenged, elderly applicants, children or applicants requiring interpreters).

Note: There is no facility at the Visa Application Center to store prohibited items or your personal belongings. You will have to make alternate arrangements to keep the same before entry into the Center.
